CA (Dr.) Swati Tejawat is a Fellow member of ICAI. She is also an Associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India as well as a Registered Valuer SFA (IBBI) for Securities and Financial Assets. Besides being a Chartered Accountant, she also completed her Ph. D. from The Assam Royal Global University on her thesis on “Corporate Governance Practices under the Companies Act, 2013: A study on select BSE Listed Companies” and earned her doctorate degree. Dr. Swati Tejawat also holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from IGNOU.

CA (Dr.) Swati Tejawat specialises in the practise area of corporate and insolvency laws. She regularly handles assignments relating to IBC matters, merger and amalgamations, revival of companies, mismanagement and oppression cases, winding up cases etc. and is a regular practitioner at the National Company Law Tribunal.

Being a Registered Valuer for Securities and Financial Assets IBBI, she is actively engaged in valuation assignments required for allotment of shares, share transfers, amalgamations, winding up etc. under the Companies Act 2013, valuations required under the IBC, startup valuations, valuation of financial assets such as brand valuation, goodwill etc.

Swati Tejawat is also a Faculty Member at ICAI Guwahati as well as ICSI Guwahati for Conducting Various Training Programmes and is a resource person for various Branch Activities of the ICAI Guwahati Branch. She has spoken at various platforms on the Companies Act and other topics. Her papers on Corporate Governance under the Companies Act have been published in leading journals.
