SKPT & Co. was established on 22nd November 2011 by CA Sumit Kabra and CA Pratik Tejawat with a clear objective of building a professionally managed Chartered Accountants firm rooted in integrity, technical excellence, and client-focused service delivery. From its inception, the firm aimed to provide dependable audit, taxation, compliance, and advisory services to businesses operating across diverse sectors. Headquartered in Guwahati, SKPT & Co. began its journey with a strong emphasis on ethical practices, personalised attention, and long-term professional relationships.

As the firm evolved, SKPT & Co. strengthened its professional capabilities through strategic partner inductions. CA Swati Tejawat joined the firm as a Partner in April 2015, adding significant expertise in corporate law, compliance, and advisory services. This was followed by the induction of CA Aayush Baid as a Partner in April 2017, further expanding the firm’s service offerings in project consultancy, financial advisory, and strategic business support. These additions marked important milestones in the firm’s growth and reinforced its multidisciplinary approach.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, SKPT & Co. demonstrated operational resilience by successfully transitioning to a technology-enabled work-from-home model, ensuring continuity of client services during unprecedented times. In February 2022, the firm reached another significant milestone by shifting to its new office premises at Jana Path, Ulubari, reflecting its steady growth and expanding professional footprint.
